Yeng Constantino on relationship with boyfriend Yan Asuncion: 'Ngayon lang ako hindi natakot mag-commit'

"Hindi ito something na pwede kong i-pinpoint. Ang alam ko lang, ngayon lang ako hindi natakot mag-commit."

This is what singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino said in an interview by Yahoo! Philippines, about her relationship with new-found boyfriend, worship director Victor "Yan" Asuncion.

Yeng and Yan officially became a couple last June 18, which also marked the Kapamilya rocker's new career - her lovelife.

Yeng said love inspired her to give her best in everything.

"Iba ang feeling. Ang daming binigay ni God na blessings sa akin," she said.

Eventually, Yeng is also Yan's first girlfriend. He courted her the traditional way - by visiting her at home, and talked with her parents.

Now that Yeng has her first-ever relationship, she knows this will belie any speculations about her being a lesbian.

"Hindi naman totoo and issue. Late bloomer lang ako," she said. "Ang haba ng red hair ko!"
