Tickets to Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Coronation Night Now Available

 

Ticket prices for Bb. Pilipinas Coronation Night 2014 have already been made available. VIP tickets reportedly are not available on sale since they go to the pageant sponsors.

The 51st Edition of Bb. Pilipinas will be on March 30, 2014 and is made brighter by Russian Popstar Emin and the reigning Miss Universe Gabriela Isler's entry as a judge of the coronation night.

Rumored BBP 2013 Returnees: The Runners-up

If you talk about the extension of Bb. Pilipinas 2013 application in other pageant blogs, many have been considered to be dismayed with the idea, I mean, this is the 2nd extension after the first extension which was set last January 22. More pageant enthusiasts have expressed their thinking that maybe Madam Stella Marquez Araneta and the BPCI organizers are giving a chance for those who have been undecided to join Binibini and maybe for those with lesser titles - 1st and 2nd Runners Up of the previous edition prior to this year.

There goes the name of Elaine Kay Moll (Bb. Pilipinas 1st Runner Up) and Annalie Forbes (Bb. Pilipinas 2nd Runner Up). Elaine had a rosy reign as BBP - 1st RU as she was appointed as Miss Supranational Philippines 2012, competed in Miss Supranational 2012 and bagged 4th place as 3rd Runner Up in the competition. However, since Supranational is not an official title, Elaine is still technically the 1st Runner Up. Ali meanwhile, the BBP-2nd Runner Up has joined Janine, Nicole, Katrina and Elaine in their trainings and I think they have benefited well from it if in case they would be joining, however, I don't think they should be joining now: They should not give up their contracts for a shot at something they are not sure off. 

If ever the two (or one since Elaine has expressed she would not be joining) will join this year, I am sure there are a lot of bashing like what happened to Dianne Necio (who resigned from her title as BBP 2010 1st Runner Up to compete in 2011 where she was BBP-International) and Janine Tugonon (who went on to compete last year and became BBP-Universe after she was 1st Runner Up to Shamcey Supsup in 2011). I hope they are not the people BPCI is waiting for... skip 1 - 2 years before joining and have a full career outside Binibining Pilipinas.

Here's a comprehensive picture outline of the recycled outfits of Bb. Pilipinas Queens which we hope we do not see in the future.

The notorious and ancient red gown (from Karen Loren Agustin to Denille Valmonte in MI 2006)

From clapper to winner? Maricar Balagtas and Precious Lara Quigaman (MI 2005 winner) shared the same gown.

Denille Valmonte and Lia Ramos used it in the same year (2006) - recycling is not bad but why used it on queens of the same year?
