The three other Binibini Gold Winners will be taking on their respective contests abroad - Cindy Miranda will be going to Miss Tourism Queen International in China (October 10 Finals), Ara Arida will be going to Miss Universe in Moscow (November 9 Finals) and Bea Rose Santiago will be going to Miss International in Japan (December 17 Finals).

Admittedly, there is a tremendous amount expectations to the three Binibini queens as it was started by Mutya Johanna Datul who won Miss Supranational 2013. However, I would like to keep my expectations in check, cheer for these queens and win or lose, be proud of them representing the Filipinos in the global stage.

Ara Arida and the Binibini Gold Winners on "The Bottomline with Boy Abunda"

 

 

 

Miss Universe Philippines 2013 Ariella Arida lead the winners of Binibini Gold were the interviewees in "The Bottomline with Boy Abunda". Though the format of the show is one-to-one interviews with controversial and highly touted individuals, the show's episode which featured beauty queens was a breath of fresh air from the usual Bottomline episode. The show's host, Boy Abunda was a firm supporter of beauty queens (he was also part of the Binibini Gold judges) was able to bring out the best and make the queens express themselves well.

Bb. Pilipinas 2013 Winners

The 50th edition of Bb. Pilipinas will happen Sunday, April 14, 2013, when Janine Tugonon (Miss Universe 1st Runner Up), Nicole Schmitz (Bb. Pilipinas International), Katrina Jayne Dimaranan (Bb. Pilipinas Tourism) and Elaine Kay Moll (Miss Supranational 3rd RU 2012) would crown their successors at the end of the event.o

This year's edition will also honor the 50 beautiful years of Bb. Pilipinas which attributed to 5 titles (2 in Miss Universe and 3 in Miss International), several runners-up finishes on the Miss Universe, World and International pageants, semifinalist appearances in Big 4 pageants and placements of BPCI appointed delegates in other pageants.

The event is to be broadcasted from Smart Araneta Coliseum at 8 PM  with delayed telecast at 9:30 PM with Martin Nievera, Dawn Zulueta, Miss Universe Philippines 2010 Venus Raj and Miss Universe Philippines 2011 Shamcey Supsup.
