'Dear Ex ni Janine Tugonon' open letter goes viral

 

An open letter of a blogger to Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up Janine Tugonon's ex-boyfriend Jaypee Santos went viral after it was shared in social networking site Facebook.

The humor piece, created by AJ Perez on Wednesday, April 17, and titled "Dear Ex ni Janine Tugonon," was already liked 35,000 times as of this posting. It also drew more than 800 combined comments from Facebook and the site's comments section.

"Pero nung isang araw, narinig ko ang isang napakasamang balita: Naghiwalay na daw kayo ni Janine. Naghiwalay daw kayo dahil sa 3rd party. Sa lahat ng party, yan ang party na di masaya. Yan ang party na walang invitation. Yan ang party na meron nag ge-gatecrash," the open letter read.

Janine and Jaypee both guested in morning talk show "Kris TV" where the beauty queen admitted on television they have already split up.

The reason? The Script's lead vocalist Danny O'Donoghue, who recently performed in the country for their band's concert.

"So na meet niya ako, nandoon siya si (Jaypee) pinakilala ko nga siya, kasi tinanong niya 'do you have a boyfriend?' Sabi ko 'yeah that's my boyfriend.' Tapos yon sabi niya 'follow me on Twitter and I will follow you back' tapos nag-direct message siya. Oo na (galit) siya (si Jaypee) kasi sabi niya kung ayaw mo talaga sa taong yan hindi mo siya kokontakin," Janine told Kris Aquino, host of "Kris TV."

In the end, the blogger has something to tell Jaypee:

"Pare, hindi ka nag-iisa. Kuha na lang tayo ng gitara at tambay na lang tayo sa tindahan ni Aling Nena."

Kamusta? Pare, nakikiramay ako kasi narinig ko sa balita na naghiwalay kayo ni Janine. Sayang, alam ko sa ngayon, masama pa rin siguro ang loob mo sa nangyari. Pero pards, may dadating din na mas maganda sa kaniya. Kung di man mas maganda, at least mas mabait sa kaniya. Pero mas okay pa rin sana kung mas maganda.

Noong naging 1st Runner up si Janine sa Ms. Universe, marami sa kaibigan kong lalaki ang naging crush siya, kasi syempre maganda na, matalino pa si Janine. May iba naman akong mga kaibigan na gusto maging katulad si Janine. Pero alam nila, kahit kailan hindi mangyayari iyon kasi mga lalaki din sila.

Noong ipinakilala sa buong mundo na ikaw ang boyfriend ng naging runner up sa Ms. Universe, aaminin ko, ang una kong naisip agad, akala ko, nag-hang ang telebisyon ko. Kasi nung nagintroduce na si Kuya Boy kung sino yung boyfriend ng naging 1st runner up, gumalaw pakaliwa yung camera at akala ko yung katabi mo yung boyfriend, e tumigil sa iyo ang camera, naisip ko, “ay, nag hang.”

Pero ikaw pala talaga iyon. Na-realize ko yun nung nakita kong ikaw lang mag-isa ang nakaupo sa upuan. Bigla akong natuwa, bigla akong nainspire. Kasi aaminin ko, katulad mo, hindi naman tayo ganun kagwapuhan. Buong buhay ko ‘tol, depressed ako. Kasi nga, alam kong hindi ako uubra sa mga kasing ganda ng mga beauty queen kasi nga di ako kagwapuhan. Pero nung pinakilala ka sa buong mundo, nabuhayan ako ng loob. Pards, naging inspirasyon kita kasi sa’yo, posibleng umibig ang isang diyosa ng kagandahan. Simula noon ay umasa na rin ako na posible din yun sa akin.

Klaruhin ko lang pare ha. Hindi kita iniinsulto at hindi kita minamaliit. Kasi nga, inaamin ko na katulad mo, may kaguwapuhan din ako na di ko inakala. Pero hanggang akala ko pa lang din yun hanggang ngayon.

Bumilib din ako kay Janine. Napakaganda niya pero ikaw pa rin ang inibig niya. Siguro sobrang bait mong tao. O kaya, sobrang talino. Sobrang yaman siguro? O madasalin ka lang na tao? Pero sigurado ako, na katulad ko, hindi iyong isa pang criterion for judging yung ginamit ni Janine sa pagpili sa iyo.

Tinaas mo ang bandera ng ating mga ka-tribo, pards. Sobrang salamat. Masaya na din kami kasi may isa kaming ka-tribo ang naging matagumpay. Puwede na tayong magka-partylist: Lucky Me! Partylist.

At ang gate crasher sa mala-cinderella mong storya? Ang lead singer daw ng “The Script.” Aaminin ko, mukhang lamang sa atin ang kolokoy na iyon. Kasi sa Facebook ko, madami din akong friends na nababaliw sa kaniya. Parang Justin Bieber na pinatanda. At katulad ni Justin Bieber, naka-ahit din ang kilay ng lalaking iyon. May foundation pa yan, pusta tayo?

Hindi iyan ang marka ng totoong lalaki. Pare, ang totoong lalaki katulad natin, may respeto. Ang totoong lalaki, kahit anong sabihin, hindi umeepal sa kapwa lalaki, kahit alam niyang mas lamang siya dito. Dahil sa dulo, ayaw din nating may umepal sa atin. That’s the bro code, y’all. Ang totoong lalaki, sa init ng araw, hindi gumagamit ng payong. Sunblock lang ang ginagamit natin. Yung SPF 40.

Pa-simple pa itong bokalista ng “The Script.” Tinanong kung may Twitter si Janine, noong sinabing meron, sabi niya, “Follow me, and I’ll follow you back.” Script mo bulok.

Pero ayun na nga ang nangyari. Naghiwalay kayo dahil doon. Ang bilis nang pangyayari. Ganyan talaga pag mas guwapo o mas maganda ang 3rd party, mas bumibilis ang pangyayari.

Noong ininterview kayo ni Ate Krissy noong isang araw, kilig na kilig pa si Janine habang kinikwento nya yung encounter nya kay script boy. Parang sure na sure na talaga siya ha na si Mr. Script ang future nya. Pero ang masakit dyan pare ko, katabi ka niya sa interview habang nag aala-kolehiyala ang ex mo in front of national TV. Hindi lang siya kinikilig. nanginginig na nga. Akala ko, kinumbulsyon na si Janine sa sobrang kilig. In front of National TV, pinagmukha kang tanga. Sumakit ang dibdib ko para sa iyo habang nakatayo kang pinagmumukha kang tanga sa harap ng milyones na nanonood. At bakit ganun, kung may magsyota na mas maganda (o mas guwapo) yung isa, utang na loob agad nung kabila kung bakit sila naging mag-on? So dapat, yung hindi kaguwapuhan (o kagandahan) na partner ay magiging alila o sunud-sunuran na lang sa mas guwapo (o maganda) na kabiyak? At kung masaktan at sabihin mo ang totoo mong nararamdaman sa partner mo dahil nasasaktan ka, ikaw pa ang makapal ang mukha?

Sana inintindi ka na lang niya. Na minsan, na-iinsecure tayo sa puntong napaparanoid na tayo. Hindi dahil masama tayong tao, ayaw lang natin sila mawala sa buhay natin. Pero nasasakal na daw sila sa atin. Sabi nila, nakakasakal na daw tayo sa relasyon, pero di nila inisip, yakap lang iyon na napahigpit ng di sadya ng isang taong desperado na ayaw niyang mawala ang pinakamamahal niyang sa mundong ito.

Pare, hindi ka nag-iisa. Kuha na lang tayo ng gitara at tambay na lang tayo sa tindahan ni Aling Nena.

Janine Tugonon breaks up with boyfriend for The Script vocalist?

Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up Janine Tugonon confirmed in a TV show that she and her boyfriend for one year have broken up.

In an episode of "Kris TV," Janine said she decided to break up with boyfriend Jaypee Santos.

"Actually honestly ngayon we are not in good terms. Siguro may nangyari lang na hindi ko ini-expect na mangyayari," the 23-year-old beauty queen said, as posted in ABS-CBN News. "Honestly po kasi break talaga kami ngayon."

Janine and Jaypee's breakup was reportedly because of The Script lead vocalist Danny O'Donoghue. The Irish pop-rank band recently performed at the Araneta Coliseum.

Janine said she met Danny during the band's meet and greet.

"Kasi hindi ba sa Araneta kapag may meet and greet, since kilala ko ang staff ng Araneta sabi ko sa kanila sobra akong fan ng The Script pwede bang ma-meet ko. So na meet niya ako, nandoon siya si (Jaypee) pinakilala ko nga siya, kasi tinanong niya 'do you have a boyfriend?' Sabi ko 'yeah that's my boyfriend.' Tapos yon sabi niya 'follow me on Twitter and I will follow you back' tapos nag-direct message siya. Oo na (galit) siya (si Jaypee) kasi sabi niya kung ayaw mo talaga sa taong yan hindi mo siya kokontakin," she said.

The couple eventually argued over the incident and Janine decided to break up with him. "Kasi nga ayaw ko naman na may iba akong iniisip. Sabi ko lang sa kanya siguro I need some time to think talaga," she said.

"Akala ko kasi si Danny na baka that night lang o nagandahan lang and all pero feeling ko siya din ay gusto niyang makilala ako," she added.

Janine however said that she and Danny are not in a relationship, but admits the singer frequently sends him text messages after they met.

Ali Forbes is 'Invincible'

Pilipinas 2012 2nd Runner Up Annalie Forbes conquers Teatrino in her solo concert entitled "Invincible". If you would recall, before she joined BBP, she was working as a singer on lounge/bars and the concert topbilling her would be a perfect fit to her craft.

Diana Avdiu, Miss Universe Kosovo is awarded as Miss Photogenic in the ongoing competition of Miss Universe 2012. 89 contestants from different countries are in Las Vegas, Nevada for the Miss Universe 2012 as they vie to succeed the longest-reigning Miss Universe, Leila Lopes and be the next Miss Universe.

 

Philippine bet for this year is Janine Tugonon.

The Search for Bb. Pilipinas 2013 now on

Bb. Pilipinas 2012 Winners: Ali Forbes (2nd Runner Up), Nicole Schmitz (Bb. Pilipinas International), Janine Tugonon (Miss Universe Philippines), Katrina Dimaranan (Bb. Pilipinas Tourism) and Elaine Kay Moll (1st Runner Up/Miss Supranational Philippines)

Just when you think that 2012 is not yet over, BPCI makes it earliest announcement for the 50th Edition of Binibining Pilipinas (Bb. Pilipinas 2013) as it formally starts accepting applications for the 2013 contest. During Janine Tugonon's send-off, Madam Stella Araneta, chairperson of BPCI announced that the search for Binibining Pilipinas 2013 is on as well as Shamcey being a presenter/host in the forthcoming Miss Universe 2012.
