NFL star Osi Umenyiora and Miss Universe 2011 Leila Lopes engaged

New York Giants star Osi Umenyiora recently proposed to Miss Universe 2011 Leila Lopes and had a "YES" when the latter asked in a dinner in Atlanta recently. The New York Post reports that the couple plans to get married in 2014.

 

Umenyiora confirms the engagement on his Twitter account  with an attached photo of him and the longest-reigning Miss Universe:

Miss Universe Update: Kosovo is Miss Photogenic

 

 

Diana Avdiu, Miss Universe Kosovo is awarded as Miss Photogenic in the ongoing competition of Miss Universe 2012. 89 contestants from different countries are in Las Vegas, Nevada for the Miss Universe 2012 as they vie to succeed the longest-reigning Miss Universe, Leila Lopes and be the next Miss Universe.

 

Philippine bet for this year is Janine Tugonon.

Miss Universe 2012 is in...

After months of discussion and rumors of cancellation, The Miss Universe 2012 pushes through on December 19 at Theatre for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Leila Lopes would be the longest reigning Miss Universe (15 months in counting) and would crown her successor that day.

The Miss Universe 2012 contest though is expected to only last for 8 days, with the candidates coming in on December 11 and moving out of Las Vegas by December 20.
