The 24th Supreme Court Chief Justice, Ma. Lourdes Punzalan Aranal - Sereno

Associate Justice Ma. Lourdes Aranal Sereno is the First Woman Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and would serve an 18-year term as the mandatory age of retirement for Chief Justices is 70.

She was the first Aquino appointee in the High Court last August 13, 2010
