Elaine Kay Moll: What's Next?

 

While Annalie Forbes is among those rumored to repeat for Bb. Pilipinas 2013, it isn't the same thing around for Bb. Pilipinas 2012 1st Runner Up turned Miss Supranational Philippines 2012 Elaine Kay Moll. You see, Elaine had the biggest chance of a lifetime that rarely happened in a Bb. Pilipinas Runner Up. She was appointed by BPCI to join Miss Supranational 2012, had the "queenly" send-off, was awarded as 3rd Runner-Up during the Miss Supranational 2012 contest (Ekaterina Buraya of Belarus won Miss Supranational 2012 contest) and was given a victory party/birthday bash when she came back. The experience definitely was more than what the 1st Runner Up expected, given  that it doesn't happen all the time (the last time you saw a runner-up or runners-up competing was when Michelle Reyes and Maricar Balagtas (1st and 2nd Runners-up respectively) were appointed by BPCI to different international competitions in 2001).

Now we are asking, what is next for this 20-ish something beauty queen? Will she skip 1 year at least before re-joining Bb. Pilipinas and pass the crown she's wearing now to the next BBP-Supranational (if that title should be awarded in the contest)? Will she be groomed by her mentor, Jonas Gaffud to banner this year's Aces and Queens? Or the Supranational experience changed her contract thus forbidding her to re-join under the BPCI banner,

Biggest Question of Pageant Fans: Can Elaine Kay Moll join Bb. Pilipinas again?

With the success of Elaine Kay Moll in Miss Supranational, pageant netizens were asking if Bb. Pilipinas would be renaming her title to Bb. Pilipinas Supranational barring her to join in the succeeding pageants or her title be maintained as 1st Runner Up to make her eligible for the Miss Universe Philippines crown either the next year or on 2014.

Anyway, anyhow, Elaine is still like 20ish and is still a long way to be able to compete in another pageant. The next Miss Supranational Philippines have big shoes to fill. :)

Now that the long wait is over on who would be representing the country for Miss Supranational's Finals on September 15, I guess we should just support Elaine, after all, she shouldn't have placed 4th if she doesn't have the IT factor, I hope that she could be the first Miss Supranational of the country.

Oh yes, the MTQI 2012 pageant is still in China and probably, how Queenierich Rehman would be treated during the Finals Night of Miss World should say how Kat would be treated. MTQI 2012 Finals is on September 28. I hope Kat can exceeed how Isabella placed last year. (Isabella Manjon was the first Bb. Pilipinas delegate in MTQI who was unplaced and took home the Miss Charity).

Philippines has been doing well in MI for the past 4 years (Fernandez, Gersbach, Kleiner and Necio were all in the Top 15) and had won 4 MI titles (last was Precious Quigaman in 2005). Does Nicole feel the pressure of winning the Philippines 5th MI crown? Gut feel that she doesn't. I am thinking of the crown for her -- to a Runner-Up finish as the worst? Well, let's wait as 2011 Miss International Fernanda Cornejo relinquishes her crown in Okinawa, Japan on October 21.
