Ara Arida waves her flag for the Philippines

 

For the Philippines, yes, this has been the mantra of 2013 Miss Universe Philippines Ariella Arida, who left yesterday on board to Moscow, Russia.

There is tremendous amount of pressure, but I should say this UP Chemistry graduate knows her pressure and will not succumb to it. She will be bringing to Crocus Hall all her preparations, be it on her tremendous  training with John Cuay to beauty queen preps with her fellow beauty queens from BBP Gold.

 

Ara is already onboard to Moscow (or maybe she has arrived) and is ready to announce her arrival with a bang.

Miss Universe 2013 is in Russia!

The next Miss Universe will be crowned on November 9, 2013 in Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia. Olivia Culpo, reigning Miss Universe will crown her successor there.

There are at least three ladies with Filipina blood joining the contest, with our very own Miss Universe Philippines Ara Arida hoping that she can continue our successes in the Miss Universe stage for the past 3 years.

Ariella Arida: Miss Universe Philippines 2013 and her Arriba Walk

Say goodbye to Tsunami Walk and Cobra Walk, we now welcome for this year the Arriba Walk, made popular by no less than our Miss Universe Philippines 2013, Ariella Arida.

Philippines had been on the Top 5 for the past 3 years with Venus Raj (2010 MU 4th RU), Shamcey Supsup (2011 MU 3rd RU) and just last December with Janine Tugonon (2012 MU 1st RU). Ara, a BS Chemistry graduate from UP Los Banos leads this year's Binibini Gold.

Ariella Arida is Miss Universe Philippines 2013

 It ain't the prophetic R-S-T-U, but newly crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2013 Ariella Arida is ready to handle the pressure of at least maintaining the streak that the country has with Miss Universe.
 

The 24 years old Chemistry graduate from UPLB leads this year's golden batch of beauties and with the pressure following the placements of Venus Raj, Shamcey Supsup and Janine Tugonon in Miss Universe, Ariella knows it ain't easy, but definitely with the guidance of the three, BPCI and of course of Jonas Gaffud, Ariella would have the right attitude for Miss Universe 2013.
