Coming Soon: Mr. World 2013 webcast

The long wait for the Mr. World 2012/2013 telecast would happen soon, this is according to the Youtube trailer posted by the Mr. World Organization. Taken last year, Mr. World features exciting journey of the most handsome men of different countries. The contest was won by Francisco Escobar of Colombia and our very own representative, Andrew Wolff (photo) was the 1st Runner Up.

Mr. World 2012 Results

After the dazzling ladies of Miss Earth 2012 had their competition in Versailles, Alabang where Ms. Czech Republic Tereza Fajksova won the crown, pageant fans were atuned with Mr. World 2013. Surely, the male counterpart pageant of Miss World which is also helmed by Julia Morley is not as popular as it is but for pageant fanatics alike, it is something they look forward to.

For this year, there are 48 entrants, and Philippines nonetheless is included. Cory Quirino, National Director of the Mr/Ms. World pageant didn't have a competition held for Mr. World Philippines, instead they sent Andrew James Wolff, 27, a businessman and a member of the Philippine Volcanoes.

The finals of the Mr. World 2012 was held November 24, 7PM England Time (3 AM Manila time). Mr. World 2010 Kamal Ibrahim crowned Colombia's Francisco Escobar as Mr. World 2013. Our very own Andrew Wolff was 1st Runner Up while rounding up the Top 3 is Ireland's Leo Delaney (2nd Runner Up).

PH bets on different pageants November 24, 2012

On November 24, 2012, Philippines would be again represented in the pageant scene on three simultaneous pageants. News Bits Online gives a rundown on who to support to and to look after for results come Saturday (hopefully the odds are all in our favor as Filipinos)

MISS EARTH 2012 - Stephany Dianne Stefanowitz (Miss Philippines Earth 2012)

Stephany Dianne Stefanowitz is our country's representative to the Miss Earth pageant. She may have a lot of pressure right now standing on her hometown crowd when the final leg of competition comes on Saturday in Versailles, Alabang but I know she has definitely trained well under the mentorship of the Rodgil Flores camp (did I get it correctly).

She has placed on various challenge events of Miss Earth (somehow reminiscent of the Miss World track events) where she has showed the power of Pinay.

Mr. World 2012 - Andrew James Wolff (Mr. World Philippines 2012)

There was no competition held for Mr. World Philippines, but I guess Madam Cory Quirino has placed her cards right with Andrew Wolff. The businessman turned player from Philippine Volcanoes has banked on his athletic skills and aims not to disappoint Filipinos in Kent, England's Mr. World 2012 contest.

Mr. International 2012 - Mark John Gutoman (Mr. International Philippines 2012)

 

 

 

 

Last but not the least is Mark John Gutoman, who is Philippines' bet to Mr. International 2012. Mark's competition would be in Thailand who has served wonderful to us in Kevin Balot and June Macasaet's recent victories there.

Andrew Wolff is Mr. World Philippines 2012

Professional Rugby Player and TV personality Andrew Wolff is set to represent the Philippines to the Mr. World 2012 pageant to be held on November 24 in Kent, England.

His name may be familiar because he is a print/TV personality. He also plays for the Philippine Volcanoes.

"My heart is definitely here in the Philippines. I'm a resident of the Philippines, it's true. I've decided to stay in the Philippines to represent it both in Mr. World and the rugby football," he said.

"I assure you I will do the very best I can to represent the Philippines, in the way it should be represented, and hopefully we can come back with [the crown]," Wolff added.

Mr. World is a counterpart of the popular Miss World who had six pageants (including this year's edition) since its maiden pageant in 1996.

Andrew has left Friday to take part of the competition in England.
