Eraserheads plays in Singapore on August 10

 

Eraserheads will be having their 2nd Reunion Concert this year - but not in the Philippines though (but close enough)...

Marcus Adoro, Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan and Buddy Zabala will be reuniting once more this year in Singapore. The band will be performing on August 10, 2013 at the Singapore Expo Max Pavilion which has a seating capacity of 7,000.

The show is priced at 68, 88 and 128 Singapore dollars or 2270, 2940 and 4280 Philippine pesos respectively.

This is the second show of the on and off band this year as they played in the World Music Festival in Dubai last April.

Concert is produced by DVent Productions which made the 2012 North American tour and Dubai Concert a success. DVent's Managing Director is Ely Buendia's former wife, Diane Ventura.

Daniel Padilla DJP album reaches platinum in less than 24 hours

 

Daniel Padilla's limited edition DJP album reached platinum in less than 24 hours after it was launched on Wednesday, April 17 at SM North Edsa The Block. The album is set to be released Friday, April 19.

Padilla's success didn't come easy, Just recently, there was a viral video on Youtube of GMA-7 love team Elmo Magalona and Julie Ann San Jose mimicking Padilla which is considered mockery by his fans. 

He had managed to secure himself in the recording industry with his first album and his participation in the recent Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs where he is the interpreter of the song 'Nasayo na ang Lahat'.

Aerosmith performs on May 8 at MOA Arena

American rock band Aerosmith will perform in Manila this May 8 at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena.

The concert's promoter, Pulp Live Productions, announced the news on Tuesday on its YouTube channel.

Aside from Manila, the band will be performing in Brisbane, Australia on May 1, Melbourne on May 4, and Jakarta, Indonesia on May 11.

The band was formed in Boston, Massachusetts  in 1970. Guitarist Joe Perry and bassist Tom Hamilton met up with singer and former "American Idol" judge Steven Tyler, guitarist Ray Tabano and Kramer, and called the new group Aerosmith. The next year, Tabano was replaced by Brad Whitford.

Aerosmith was inducted at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
