John Lloyd Cruz curses, challenges Diether Ocampo to a fist fight

 

 Kapamilya star John Lloyd Cruz allegedly rushed to the set of ABS-CBN's "Apoy Sa Dagat," cursed and challenged one of the show's actors, Diether Ocampo to a fistfight, a report from DZMM says.

The commotion started when one of the scenes required Diether to throw a bag at Angelica Panganiban, John Lloyd's girlfriend and star of the show, but Diether was said to have been carried away by his emotion for the scene and thereafter, unintentionally threw a flower vase at the actress.

The broken vase unfortunately hit Angelica's foot and allegedly complained about it to his boyfriend, who immediately rushed to the set's location. John Lloyd allegedly sought Diether, cursed him and challenged him to a fistfight.

The report also said the show's executive producer stood between the fight, reason for the commotion to end.

It's been said this is not the first time Angelica became uncomfortable in a scene with Diether.

The Kapamilya network ABS-CBN has released its 2013 summer station ID which carries the theme "Kwento ng Summer Natin."

The network goes down memory lane decade by decade by featuring the biggest shows and pop culture trends in the past 60 years. Kapamilya stars bring back the most popular programs which left a mark on Filipinos through the years.

ABS-CBN releases official statement on Kris Aquino resignation

TV network ABS-CBN has released its official statement regarding Kris Aquino's resignation from her shows "Pilipinas Got Talent," "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw," and "Kris TV."

The resignation came after another controversy involving the host-actress and basketball player ex-husband James Yap.

The statement was released by Head of Integrated Corporate Communications Bong Osorio on March 23, Saturday.

Ms. Kris Aquino and her kids are going on an earlier planned vacation starting today, March 23.

Upon her return, Kris will fulfill her commitments to her soap "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw," which is nearing its end. She will also have to stay as a judge in "Pilipinas Got Talent" till its end on June. Being a foreign franchise, there are commitments we have to fulfill and rules we need to abide by.

Kris TV had taped advanced episodes in anticipation of her long planned vacation with her sons.
Ms. Kris aquino and ABS-CBN management are also scheduled to meet upon her return to Manila.

Meanwhile, we wish Kris and her sons a peaceful and restful vacation. We respect her need for privacy at this difficult time.

Indio and Juan Dela Cruz, who would reign supreme?

Two news shows will soon premiere on two of the biggest networks in the country, GMA-7 and ABS-CBN 2.

"Indio"

Starting January 14, the Kapuso network will air its big-budgeted historical fantaserye-drama "Indio," starring Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr.  It is Bong's first teleserye in GMA-7, and also features an ensemble cast including Jennylyn Mercado, Rhian Ramos, Maxene Magalona, Michael de Mesa, Jackielou Blanco, and Bobby Andrews.

"Indio" is set in the era of Spanish colonization in the Philippines. Adding to its flavor is the twist of Filipino beliefs on gods and goddesses, so expect some good special effects in the show.

The series is created by Suzette Doctolero, who was also behind the fantaserye "Encantadia" and historical drama "Amaya." It is directed by Dondon Santos and will replace "Aso Ni San Roque" on the network's Telebabad block.

"Juan dela Cruz"

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN will bring back Coco Martin on its primetime block via "Juan dela Cruz," a fantasy-drama series about a half-tagapagbantay and half-aswang man who falls in love with Rosario (played by Erich Gonzales), an aswang hunter.

"Juan dela Cruz" was initially set as an entry to the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival but was later serialized into a TV drama. It is under the direction of Malu Sevilla and will premiere on February 4.

Also in the cast are Albert Martinez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Joel Torre, Gina Pareño, Lotlot de Leon, Neil Coleta, and Arron Villaflor.

Sarah Geronimo wins at MNet Asian Music Awards

Kapamilya star Sarah Geronimo has been awarded Best Asian Artist at the 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards, commonly known as MAMA, held in Hong Kong on November 30.

Dolphy remembered through eulogies: ZsaZsa singing Through The Years

Following the Comedy King's Dolphy's death last July 10 came the eulogy yesterday of the different people that has been in the lives of Dolphy through the years. The necrological services was at the ABS-CBN Compound, inside the Dolphy Theater. Xperia users enjoy free 50 GB online storage

Sony Ericsson has partnered with Box to provide Xperia owners with 50GB free online storage for digital content.

The company said by logging into their Box account through an application in the Android Marketplace, Xperia owners globally can enjoy free cloud storage and file sharing for life.

The promotion began last Thursday, December 15, and will last until December 31, 2012.

Sony Ericsson said it is available to all consumers worldwide who own any Xperia smartphones.

“With people taking more pictures, listening to more music and watching more video on their Xperia smartphone than ever before, especially over the holidays, we wanted to make sure that they had the ability to upload their content to the cloud and share it across multiple devices. Xperia and Box will provide consumers with access to a massive amount of content on the go putting their smartphone at the very heart of their connected lifestyle,” said Dennis Manzano, General Manager of Sony Ericsson Philippines.
