Danny Ildefonso signs a one conference contract with the Meralco Bolts

Danny Ildefonso is now eager to repay Meralco Bolts as he was given a one conference contract after being dropped out of the Official List of Roster of the Petron Blaze Boosters last November 30.

Ildefonso, who was away from regular basketball play for the last two months will debut today against Air 21 Express. He joins former coach and current Meralco Bolts Assistant Coach  Jong Uichico who strongly believes that the 15 year veteran still has a lot left in his tank and will make the Bolts a better team

Danny Ildefonso as a Coach?

 

With his name not submitted in the Philippine Cup lineup of Petron Blaze Boosters, 2 time MVP Danny Ildefonso reportedly is offered a coaching job to continue mentoring the big men of the only team he played for in his 14 year career.

Ildefonso, on his part is determined to talk to the San Miguel management, who reportedly had his number in his GMA Sports interview where he had talked about SMB trades and the things that happened during the last 3 years. He has not signed a playing contract but still attends Petron Blaze workouts where he continues to mentor "The Kraken" June Mar Fajardo.
