2014 Miss International Winners

The 54th Edition of the Miss International pageant was held in Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa in Tokyo, Japan with 2013 Miss International Bea Rose Santiago crowning Miss International Puerto Rico Valerie Hernandez as the 2014 winner.

2nd Runner Up - Punika Kulsoontornrut (Thailand)

4th Runner Up - Milla Romppanen (Finland)

Aileen Bernal (Panama)

Elfin Pertiwi Rappa (Indonesia)

Zuleika Suarez won the Best Dresser and Miss Friendship Award, Jhaltaleka Malhotra of India was Miss Internet, Indonesia's Elfin Pertiwi Rappa was Best in National Costume while France's Aurianne Sinacola got the Perfect Body Award.

Valerie and the rest of the runners-up will stay in Japan until 19th for press conferences and commitments to the Miss International Organization.

The Search is on for Bb. Pilipinas 2015

We have not seen MJ, Kris and Yvethe compete yet but BPCI has already opened its doors for applications for Bb. Pilipinas 2015. The requirements are already in the website: www.bbpilipinas.com and several beauty camps such as Aces and Queens and KF had already started training their girls for this year. 

How about the placements for our 2014 girls? Do you agree that they should remove the Bb. Pilipinas Tourism crown?

Bb. Pilipinas 2014: Can Bianca Guidotti and Yvethe Santiago do a back-to-back?

 

Will Bea Rose Santiago pass on the crown to Bianca Guidotti? 

Will Mutya Datul pass on the Supranational crown to Yvethe Santiago

Winning the third Miss Universe crown and the first Miss Intercontinental crown may be daunting already but for Bianca Guidotti and Yvethe Santiago, winning the Miss International crown and Miss Supranational crown this year is two times the pressure. 

Bianca and Yvethe both talked about having the international winners giving them tips, which will be considered as a factor when both are in Japan and in Poland respectively. Bea Rose and Mutya will be there as VIP before they passed on their crowns and will definitely like the idea of passing it on to their Binibini sisters. But truth be told, it will be hard, there are a lot of gorgeous and equally intelligent candidates and the idea for now is for both delegates to enjoy their experience abroad.

When a back-to-back happens, these photos will be done once more with their international sashes, for now let's leave it all to preparation and fate and if they are to win back-to-back for country.

Bb. Pilipinas Queens Behind The Scene Training

 

If there is one thing commendable about the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 is that the batch seemed to blend well as sisters. The KF girls (Lastimosa, Shah, Janson and Sison) and A&Q girls (Guidotti, Santiago and Lehmann) left all their camp battles and work for Team Philippines. 

Here is an example of how the Binibini Ladies prepare for the pageant, strict training indeed for Miss Intercontinental, Miss Supranational and Miss International pageants.

Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Winners

The 51st Edition of Bb. Pilipinas will happen on Sunday, March 30 where Ariella Arida (2013 Miss Universe 3rd Runner Up) crowned 26 years old North Cotabato beauty Mary Jean Lastimosa, Bea Rose Santiago (Miss International 2013) crowned Mary Anne Bianca Guidotti, Mutya Johanna Datul (Miss Supranational 2013) crowned Yvethe Santiago and Joanna Cindy Miranda (Miss Tourism Queen International 2013 Semifinalist) crowned Parul Shah. The first Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental was awarded to Kris Tiffany Janson.
