After months of discussion and rumors of cancellation, The Miss Universe 2012 pushes through on December 19 at Theatre for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Leila Lopes would be the longest reigning Miss Universe (15 months in counting) and would crown her successor that day.

The Miss Universe 2012 contest though is expected to only last for 8 days, with the candidates coming in on December 11 and moving out of Las Vegas by December 20.

Miss Tourism Queen International 2012 is stated on December 11-29, 2012 in China where 2011 winner Kantapat Peerdachainarin will crown her successor. Philippines will be bannered by Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2012 Katrina Jayne Dimaranan.
