Miriam Santiago pick-up lines for V-Day

Sen. Miriam Santiago cracked her newest pick-up lines as her Valentine's Day advice during her speech last Tuesday at the University of the Philippines in Manila.

Speaking at the crowd, the fierce senator once again delivered her witty and smart punchlines.

"Alam n'yo ba ang isa pang tawag sa Valentine's Day? Para sa mga malulungkot na single, ang tawag dito ay Singles' Awareness Day. Para sa mga masasayang single, ang tawag dito ay Singles' Independence Day. Para sa mga walang pakialam, ang tawag dito ay Thursday."

"Buti pa ang kalendaryo, may date. Kayo ba, meron?"

"Kapag ikaw ay nagmahal pero sasaktan mo rin lang naman, dapat maghamon ka na lang ng suntukan."

"Ang taong nagmamahal nang tunay ay parang matalinong estudyante na kumukuha ng exam. Hindi siya tumitingin sa iba kahit nahihirapan na."

"Para sa mga single, umuwi nang maaga mula sa school o sa trabaho, para isipin nila, may date ka."

Lending their Support: Bb. Pilipinas 2012 Winners

 

Screenings Day 1 and 2 went on as organized by BPCI for their 50th Anniversary this year and pageant fans can't help but look at, aside from its contestants past winners lending their support to the screenings, this include Bb. Pilipinas 2012 1st Runner Up Elaine Kay Moll and Bb. Pilipinas Tourism Katrina Dimaranan, who both depict the improvement they had during their year's reign with Binibini.

Expect the list of Binibining Pilipinas 2013 contestants to be out this weekend.

JR Royol: First Pinoy Masterchef

 

 

For those who have missed the grand finals of Pinoy Masterchef, JR Royol was named as the first Pinoy Masterchef at the cooking show's finals last Saturday, February 9 at the SM Skydome.

 

JR Royol bested three other Masterchef finalists named Carla Marcaida, Ivory Yat and Myra Santos, who took the second, third and fourth places, respectively.

 

He scored 96.1% with his "Bigorot" dish, a fusion of a three-way cooked chicken which he considers as the mix of his heritage since his father is a Bicolano and his mother is an Igorot.

 

The show was hosted by Judy Ann Santos  with chef judges Ferns Aracama, Rolando Laudico and Jayps Anglo and celebrity judges Kris Aquino and Richard Gomez.
