Gabby Concepcion extended his condolences to the family of his former wife, Sharon Cuneta for the death of the Cuneta matriarch, Elaine Gamboa-Cuneta more known to the industry as Mommy Elaine.
In an interview shown in The Buzz just this Sunday, Concepcion said he understands how his daughter, KC feels after losing her "mita". It was recalled that during the early 90s, when Sharon was busy working and Gabby was in the States, it was Mommy Elaine Cuneta who stood by KC and took care of her.
He advised KC to be strong and happy that his grandmother is already in a better place right now.
He also mentioned that he had been a recepient of Mommy Elaine's kindness: Concepcion said: “Inalagaan niya 'yung mga anak niya, inalagaan niya kami hanggang sa mga apo niya. Malungkot [ako], may oras din na nakasama ko siya. Tumira din ako kasama nila. Mabait si mommy Elaine.”
The internment of Elaine Gamboa- Cuneta will be on Tuesday, November 11.
