38th Season PBA Leo Awards Winners

It all comes down to three: Castro, Tenorio and Santos for the MVP Trophy (PBA/Nuki Sabio)

Just before the 2013 Governors Cup Finals Game 4 between the Petron Blaze Boosters and the San Mig Coffee Mixers come the awarding of the 38th Season PBA Best in the Leo Awards. The three winners of the Best Player of the Conference Award: Jayson Castro (Talk and Text during the All Filipino Cup), LA Tenorio (Ginebra during the Commissioner's Cup) and Arwind Santos (Petron Blaze during the Governors Cup) are the top candidates for the Most Valuable Player.

Calvin Abueva, the second pick of the 2012 PBA Draft should be the strongest contender for the PBA Rookie of the Year award but is still challenged by the top play of Junemar Fajardo.

Castro, Tenorio and Santos would most likely make it to the Mythical Five First Team.

Mythical 2nd Team: Sonny Thoss, Marc Pingris, Junmar Fajardo, Alex Cabagnot, Cyrus Baguio
Rookie of the Year: Calvin Abueva
Most Improved Player: KG Canaleta

Sportmanship Award: Jayvee Casio

The broadcast will be right before the PBA Finals at Akyson TV and at 11:30 PM on TV5.
