Publisher insists HK textbook promotes racial harmony

Educational Publishing House Pte. Ltd. publisher of the controversial textbook in Hongkong insisted that the text book which states that A Filipino is a domestic helper in the country is not discriminating but it promotes racial harmony.

According to the publishing house, if anybody suspects it to be discriminating, it will be to their own point of view. They do not disrespect occupations and the book was just to show the variety of cultures that live in Hongkong.

The reply was in response to Hongwrong blogger Tom Grundy who published the content of the book and pleaded for respect for Filipinos.
