8 Movies to Compete in the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival

Sequels lead the 8 entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival as the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced the official entries for this year.

Praybeyt Benjamin 2 of Vice Ganda is the second installment of the Praybeyt Benjamin series in 2011 which was once a high-grossing film.

Feng Shui 2 of Kris Aquino was a sequel of the movie 10 years ago, the movie will still star Kris Aquino along with Coco Martin and Kim Chiu and will be directed by Chito Rono.

Now on its 15th Year, the Shake, Rattle and Roll 15 will be bannered by Dennis Trillo and Carla Abellana. 

Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2  is a second installment of the film where Dingdong Dantes and Lovi Poe are expected to reprise their roles.

Magnum Muslim .357 is the fourth straight MMFF movie of ousted governor ER Ejercito, with Denise Laurel to be his leading lady. 

Robin Padilla and Iza Calzado will star at the biopic of Andres Bonifacio: Bonifacio, Gusto Mo Ba Siyang Makilala.

Vic Sotto and Ryzza Mae Dizon goes back to the big screen with My Big Bossing's Adventures, it would be a joint venture from Octoarts, MZET and APT Entertainment. 

And lastly, Derek Ramsay and Angeline Quinto are to star in Quantum Films' English Only Please.
