Comedian Sammy Lagmay died Wednesday afternoon in his house in Bulacan.
Sammy passed away at around 3 p.m. at his home in San Jose del Monte in the said province, due to complications from diabetes. He was 55.
The comedian is survived by his wife and two children, who are all based in the United States.
Sammy had been battling from complications brought by diabetes. His kidney failure forced him to undergo dialysis for years.
The actor appeared in several ABS-CBN shows like "Oki Doki Dok," "Pwedeng Pwede," "Pilya En Da Pilot," "Abangan ang Susunod na Kabanata," and "OK Fine Whatever."
Sammy's failed venture in a business prompted his wife and children to leave him for the United States 10 years ago.
His sister Mylene stayed with him until his death.
