Nicole Kelly, 23, crowned as the new Miss Iowa 2013 was born without her left forearm. In the pageant site MissIowa.com, Kelly mentioned that despite not having a left forearm, it didn't stop her from doing things she opted to do: sports, swimming and diving.
According to her biography, Kelly is studying directing and theater management at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and she hopes to work in the Broadway.
She will be representing the state of Iowa to the Miss America pageant in September.
