The romantic-comedy film starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo, "It Takes A Man and A Woman," has already breached the P200-million on its first eight days of showing.
As of Saturday, the film has already earned P201 million according to Star Cinema's PR executive Roxy Liquigan.
John Lloyd took the opportunity during "ASAP's" episode on April 7 to thank fans and moviegoers.
"Thank you very much. Maraming, maraming salamat po talaga. Thank you 'ASAP' for giving me the chance na makapagpasalamat sa lahat ng mga nakapanood na. Sa lahat ng mga hindi pa nakakapanood, please po huwag niyo palampasin," he said.
Box Office Mojo earlier reported the movie grossed P60.98 million in its first two days in theaters. It outranked Hollywood film "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" which also started showing on Black Saturday.
"It Takes A Man and A Woman" prequels, "A Very Special Love," (2008) and "You Changed My Life," (2009), earned P179.3 million and P225.2 million, respectively, making the installments among the highest-grossing Filipino films of all time.
