Powerade enters the Semifinals

In a knockout Sunday, Gary David proved that he was one exceptional player by leading Powerade Tigers pass B-Meg Derby Ace Llamados, 131-123 to get the 2nd seat of the Semifinals.

Gary David, known to be capable of scoring in bunches lead the team to 37 points in an overtime victory.

Powerade's  2 other key players, Marcio Lassiter and Jayvee Casio showed maturity as rookies and by hitting 3 point shots one after the other, they manage to surpass B-Meg lead which came as high as 17 points during the game.

Prior to this game, only 2 teams being #8 had eliminated the 1st seed. The one I remembered was the Ginebra team lead by Bal David who eliminated Asi Taulava's Mobiline Phone Pals during the late 90-s.
