Popovich named Coach of the Year

San Antonio Spurs Head Coach Gregg Popovich was named the 2011-2012 NBA Coach of the Year and was given the Red Auerbach trophy. It was his second COY award, the first was back in 2002-2003. He guided the Spurs to the 50-16 record and for the 13th straight year, all under his tenure, the Spurs have won 50 + games.
