File Photo: AKTV

Subplot: Finals MVP, All-Star MVP and a Regular Season MVP? Can Big-Game James Yap do all that this year?

This year's All-Star Game was about giving back to the fans and breaking records as well...
The lead of Veterans vs. RSJ, which stood at 32 points when the final buzzer sounded was the most lopsided in history. The Vets also set a new record for points scored which was held by the South All Stars in the 2008 All Star Game in Bacolod at 163 (overtime)

Player:
Dylan Ababou of the RSJ and James Yap of the Veterans team were tied at 44 points and broke the individual record of Samboy Lim of 42 points, set during the 1990 PBA All Star Weekend, the first time that the Rookie-Sophomore-Junior versus Veterans were introduced in a 146-118 rout. James Yap of the Veterans squad was also adjuged the MVP of the game, just eight days after he won the Finals MVP of Commissioner's Cup.

James Yap is a great player. He can lift his team to win on the game. That's the reason why he became the MVP last season. Hope they can do it again.
