All Star Friday Results: Of Reigning Champion and New Winners

All-Star Friday in Digos, Davao Del Sur ushered in events that fans look forward to: The Obstacle Challenge, 3 Pt. Challenge and Slam Dunk Contests.

Jonas Villanueva: 4th time Obstacle Challenge Champion
 
It was from unlikely rivals Pamboy Raymundo of the Talk and Text Tropang Texters and Chris Ellis of Barangay Ginebra that challenge reigning champion Jonas Villanueva to his 4th consecutive obstacle challenge championship.
 
Villanueva registered 26.3 seconds to maintain his title. In his interview, he said he is open to defending his championship one more time but he hopes to try other events too.

Chris Tiu: 3 Point King
 
Chris Tiu proves that his morning shoot-around is enough to be this year's 3-point king.
 
Tiu defeated KG Canaleta, the slamdunk king who crossovered to the three-point shootout contest and Jvee Casio in the final round with 21 points, overcoming the 18 points scored by Canaleta in the final round.
 
Tiu is no stranger to three-point contests, He was able to win during the UAAP-NCAA All-Star game.
 
Tiu was able to dethrone 3-time champion Mark Macapagal, who before the contests was the second of the reigning champions who joined the contest to defend their title.
 
 
 
Chris Ellis: Slam Dunk Champion
 
 
Chris Ellis honored Samboy Lim in his dunk as he beats the challenge of his team mate, Elmer Espiritu and Meralco's Cliff Hodge to capture the Slam Dunk title.
 
Chris Ellis considers his team manager influential as he often tells to attack the rim aggressively and play well. He said also in his interview that he watches Samboy's highlights in Youtube.
