Filipino Time No More with New Law?

 

Will the concept of "Filipino time" be eliminated with the new law?

President Benigno Aquino III signed to law that sets Philippine Standard Time (PST) that should be followed by all government offices. 

Republic Act 10535  requires all national and local government offices to follow PST even with their respective bundy clocks. 

The PST will also be available through the internet with PAGASA  as its timekeeper. 

It also mandates  state-owned and private television and radio networks to synchronize their time with the PST or face sanctions from NTC or DILG.
